Very worried about my ear-experts needed?!

Question:

Very worried about my ear-experts needed?

Okay, here's the thing:I'm 17 years old and for the past two-three years I've been listening to loud music.Last November I got an mp3 and the volume went even higher, but of course for little amounts of time. Many times my ears ringed after I turned off the music for short amounts of time again. But last Saturday night I felt my left ear kind of "heavy"and I noticed that when I close the other one I can hear a very faint buzzing sound and I also think that I don't hear as well as with the other ear. Also, when I yawn or shallow I hear noise only from the "good"ear, like the other isn't connected anymore.I had this feeling all Sunday and then it went away.I listened to music again(not very loud)and I had no problem. But tonight I listened to loud music for like 20 minutes and that feeling is back!Am I going deaf? Can I fix this?I'm only 17,isn't it early for hearing damage?

Answers:

You're never too young to have hearing damage. You should see ans ENT Dr. (Ear Nose and Throat) check you out. Hearing loss can usually be reversed, so catching it early is good.
