There is a sweetener used in some candies called "Xylitol" that does not cause tooth decay, and reportedly increases saliva production. You can usually only find these in the pharmacy section.
Of more importance is the fact you are having a bothersome side effect from an antidepressant. If most of them did cause side effects, I wouldn't bring it up, but the fact is, most antidepressants don't cause bothersome side effects, so there is at least a question of whether this medication and dose is worth being on, as opposed to a different medication or dose.
