What does it mean if a doctor has a specialty in osteopath? i'm trying to find a new doc?


Answers:

Osteopathy isn't a specialty. In the US, most practicing physicians are MD's, but there's an alternative in DO's, and it's a completely separate, parallel system. Both, on graduation, then go on to specialty training.
