Strep Throat?!

Strep Throat?

My doctor's office is closed today - I already tried calling her. My throat has been tender for the past few days, and today I noticed what appears to be a pimple (1 small white dot) on my throat. I have no other symptoms (and the last time I had strep I didn't have a fever - it just hurt really bad...but there was no bump, either). What do you think?

Thanks to all that answered. I did see my doctor, and the quick Strep test was negative...although it looks like strep, feels like strep...so she gave me some antibiotics, just-in-case.

I think what you're describing is strep. Go to your Dr. asap almost every illness presents itself differently each time it pops up. I think that's due to adapting to the antibiotics. I'm not a dr. though, and that's who really needs to give you your answer.
Whichever, lots of fluids, lots of rest, and lots of chicken soup, (yes, really! chicken soup does aid in healing, it's proven), none of these can hurt, and they will aid health. So fluids, rest and chicken soup or broth for you, and get into bed!
