Temazepam, would like your advice?!

Temazepam, would like your advice?

I have just been prescribed Temazepam and i know sometimes its prescribed to help with sleeping problems, but i was wondering what other causes its prescribed for.

And what sort of side effects could i expect

Yes i am in the UK.

Just out of interest to "Dr Frank", do you think it would be better to go to back to the docs and get some help for the reasons why i cant sleep

Or anyone else's opinion on, not taking these drugs and going back to the doctors would be usefull.

I was prescribed it for crippling, tension related headaches, but decided against taking it. I think it basically acts as a muscle relaxant so can be used to treat various symptoms.
