Why do some people sleep with one leg bent?!
Question:
Why do some people sleep with one leg bent?
some people sleep with both, and some just one. they put there leg all the way up by their stomach.
Answers:
Most humans tend to assume a variation of the fetal position during sleep, which would involve lying on one side with the legs bent and curled upwards. Most of the muscles in the leg are relaxed that way. It also conserves heat, since the body temperature will drop during sleep it helps keep the extremities a little warmer. The modified fetal position is considered to be the position of most natural rest, and probably the one we revert to when we sleep because we spent the most comfortable and secure portion of our lives that way. So when we go to sleep, we would tend to revert to it unless stress or a physical problem kept us from it.
