I just got shocked by touching my closet? Why?

I saw a white spark and was like what the hell but My sweater that i'm wearing was staticy at the time ... could that have caused it?


Answers:

yep. happens a lot when there's a lot of static in the air - in Montreal in the winter, I had to stop using my cellphone - it kept zapping my ear!
