Cocaine vrs pot?
Hubby says pot is just as bad as coke...where i dissagree. Pot is a plant that isnt going to hurt you like coke can...I want to smoke a little pot here and there, but hubby says if i do he will start doing coke again. What are your thoughts?

Your husband is an idiot if he honestly thinks that weed is as bas as coke. Tell him to go get a job at the DEA. He would fit in well there.
Cocaine is a clinically proven addictive narcotic that easily can be abused and thanks to it's red headed step child, crack, has destroyed who knows how many people's lives. Plus it requires trust as being a white powder, anything could be mixed with it (if it's even blow at all). If done correctly it is very possible to do it casually, but it requires the risk. There's a reason the "coca" was taken out of the cola.
Marijuana is a clinically proven medication to pain and suffering from everything from chemo-therapy to getting hurt during football practice. It's impossible to overdose with, it's nearly impossible to become addicted to, it's impossible to get a "bad" batch (besides stress), and it's been extensively written about for centuries. It makes shows funny, food taste divine, and music sound as if it is coming forth from heaven directly to your eardrums. The fascism towards it has existed less than 50 years and it is almost universally accepted as harmless to everyone who doesn't live in middle America. The worst thing it can do is make you fat from satisfying your muchies every time you toke.
Having said that though, it's a very manipulative excuse to do cocaine again but if he wants to do it sounds like a fair trade off. He's absolutely wrong in calling them the same though. That's what I call offense to.
