How is the bloodtype of someone determined?!

Question:

How is the bloodtype of someone determined?

meaning...why would my son be B+ and I am O+....how do we get different blood types..just curious?

Answers:

the other parent could have that blood type or it is in your genetic history. Generally they say the father determines the type of blood such as O, B, AB and the mother determines if it is negative or positive.
