Nurse Advice...?!

Question:

Nurse Advice...?

I am a senior in high school and I have been looking at becoming a registered nurse, I have read some peoples opinions on going to community collage or going straight to a university and I am leaning towards going to Jr Collage. I have heard that if you go to community collage first and get your associates degree you will be able to get into the work force alot quicker, is this true?
Also if I was to go back to school to get my bachelors and then masters so I could become a nurse practitioner how does work get in the way?

Answers:

we need more nurses... you can definitely get your associate's degree from a community college and finish school sooner than getting a rn, the good thing is you can get employed and then if you really like nursing proceed to get your bsn degree. goodluck! good choice.
