My doctor cant tell me why my LDL is 13. very scared?
37yr female smoker 5'5 200lbs. Went to a very stupid doctor today. did lab work for EBV.. but DR was very concerned that my labs came back asd follows. cholesterol=76;triglyceride=10... HDL=38 LDL=13 BLOOD PRESSURE=118/64. CANT FIND ANYTHING ON LOW LDL AND THE "DR" SAID SHE HAS NEVER SEEN THIS IN A PERSON THAT WAS NOT ON MEDS THAT LOWER CHOLOST. ONLY THING I CAN FIND IS PARKINSONS LINK, AND MY GRANDMOTHERS HAS THAT.. PLEASE HELP???

This is not 1st time its been to low,and no you moron its NOT weight related! Usually an overweight person has high colest. Thanks for your rudness though.

My opinion--take another blood test and recheck these numbers. Just stay calm. It won't do a bit of good to worry.
Look on the net what a person with high LDL needs to stay away from and eat lots of that. I do know eggs are one. Maybe you can bring this up. Just a thought.
