Anybody ever know of anyone who gained an inch in height in their 40's?
My girlfriend had her height checked today and she grew an inch. She asked the nurse to recheck it and again to make sure. It wasn't the scale either because it was a ruler on the wall they were using.

Maybe her original impression of how tall she is was incorrect. I grew an inch in my 30s, all in my torso. It's rare, but possible. Growing taller should be noticable in her clothing. If her clothing hasn't shrunk anyplace, chances are she really didn't grow, she just thought she was an inch shorter than she really was.
