Are there any people with ADHD out there? Do you use Ritalin. How does it work for you?
Im waiting for my Ritalin permit. i chose Ritalin because it is the cheapest one and it leaves the body after 3-4 hrs. How does it feel and does it help in studying?
Answers:
I have ADHD and was prescribed Ritalin in maybe 3rd grade. It helped me a lot but I took it every day for several years and then I became tolerant to it, so it didn't work for me after that length of time. Then I took Adderall, which helped me concentrate but I was one of those people that was negatively affected by it also. I couldn't eat, sleep, stop thinking, and my mouth was always dry because I couldn't stop talking about stuff I was working on. I don't remember if Ritalin had these affects on me though. All I remember is that it definitely helped me. You should know that one of the side effects (though rare) is Tourette's Syndrome. I have Tourette's, but it's possible I had it before I started taking Ritalin. Focalin had the same effects for me that Adderall did.
