Diarrhea causing weight loss with no other problems...what does it mean?
I am pretty thin (5' 4", slight frame, 105lb) and never had problems with weight lately i've actually been losing weight. The only reason I could think of for this is the diarrhea i've had the past few days. Otherwise i'm fine. What can this mean?
Answers:
Let the Diarreha run its course. Your body is trying to get rid of something hence why you have it. Your weight loss can be contributed to the water you are lossing. Besure to drink plenty of water and gatorade to keep yourself hydrated and the electrolytes in your system replensished. Your weight will readjust once your body is back to normal.
If the diarrhea persists much longer go see your doctor. Many people take meds to stop it which is not good. By doing so you pretty much are clogging up your system inwhich your body is using to try and get rid of something.
