Coping with death?!

Question:

Coping with death?

I was walking home when I saw a dog in the middle of the street, I tried to call it's name to get out of the street but before it made it, a truck ran it over. I knew the dog really well and I felt like it was my fault that it died. Every time I think about it, my mind replays how I watched as the truck ran over it. How do I cope? I'm having a break down right now?

Answers:

Sweetie - It wasn't your fault by any means. Just think of it like this: It was God's timing. He needed another angel. Everything in life has a purpose, plan, & a reason. You were just in the midst of this moment. By no means was it your fault -- And you shouldn't feel guilty. The driver was the one that took the dogs life, not you. But it wasn't his the driver's fault either. You should maybe take some flowers & put them on the dog’s grave (if you know where that is)... That might give you some closure. Good luck & don't feel bad -- God felt like it was time to bring the dog home!!!
