My best friend, who is in New York, has to get herself a heroin detox. Where can she find a treatment center t
I really want to help her but I'm literally hundreds of miles away. I really hate what heroin has done to her. Because of the drug, she has turned into a person that I barely know. It's a good thing that she's willing to change now, and I just really want to help her. Hearing her agonizing about her situation over the phone just tears my heart. Help please.

You can also ask her to go to the hospital and have herself detoxed or get recommendations from doctors on which treatment center would be best for her. If she needs to talk to somebody about this, somebody who could enlighten her more, she could call a helpline, 800-559-9503. They can also give her advice and point some addiction treatment centers in her direction.
