Depends how you got the condition (rock concerts, work conditions). I have this condition and have gotten use to it. I have had many tests, hearing, MRI of my head, neurological exam, ear, nose and throat md exam. They could find nothing wrong with me that was related to tinnitus, so they had nothing to treat, it is annoying but I learned to live with it. You need to start with your doctor. Good luck!
