What is the first thing that comes to mind when someone passes by you and turns !

Question:

What is the first thing that comes to mind when someone passes by you and turns up their nose?

People do this everytime they come near me. they turn up their nose and scrunch up their face or they take the palm of their hand and push their nose up like their nose is irritating them. Some even dig up their nose when they come near me. My fiance does it too so I asked him why he does it and he says that he has alergies. He said that I don't stink but apparantly the people who generally do it as soon as they see me must think differently. I guess I wanna know does it mean that you stink when people do these things in your presence because it really makes me uncomfortable. I guess you could say that my self esteem is at the bottom of the well. Also, do you think my fiance is lying to me to spare my feelings? have you ever done these things around someone? what did you mean by it? thanks in advance...

Answers:

I really wouldn't pay any attention to them if I were you. I mean, I know you can't help but to notice it, but don't let it bother you. Shoot, the next time somebody does it to you, do it right back to them. See if they like it. People can be very ignorant. Me personally, no, I wouldn't do that if I were near someone who smelled. Not saying that that's the reason, but you never know what people are thinking about you. As far as your fiance goes, maybe it really is allergies. I think if you are about to marry someone, then you are comfortable with telling them what you feel. I'm sure if he had a problem or if "your smell" was bothering him then he would say so.
