Nerve jumping/muscle spasms(sp?)?!

Nerve jumping/muscle spasms(sp?)?

I have a nerve in my upper left arm thats is constantly jumping u can sit there and watch it jump its so weird...what Causes this? I also have noticed that the muscle in my lower left leg spasms right before I drift into sleep ... any Ideas whats causing this, and what can I do to stop it?, its not painful its just really annoying..any reasonable ideas would be great

Your arm twitch is simply a nervous tic. It happens to a lot of people. As for the leg twitch at bedtime, that also is normal. As the body relaxes the muscles sometimes cause a leg or arm jerk.
