Anyone shocked by channel 4 docu: drinking yourself to death?
Just watching this docu on channel four and it's absolutely shocking to see, that drinking twice a week can already cause serious problems to your liver. It's expected that in 20 years a huge amount of people will have a (deadly) liver diease...
Just wonering what you think about this and if it will make you drink less.

Hmmm I'm a little sceptical. They had an MP who drank half a bottle of wine per day, and she had a reading of 3.3 which was low. So I'm not sure I can trust the test.
The whole tone of the programme was sensationalist which always makes me suspicious.
Also they did not give any recommendations. yes 20 units, but how many on a Friday night? If you go up to 30 units how much damage? if any?
Mind you, I'd like to have the test.
I have an open question asking where you can get it (without forking out £250).
