If I started a group for people with cancer, similar to an AA group?
If I started a group for people with the disease of cancer, similar to a group like Alcoholics Anonymous who claim they have a disease or NA, could I expect people to cure themselves by becoming spiritual and attending meetings only?

... No. Why would you make people go to meetings for having cancer? It isn't their fault, and it isn't something they can help. It would be more of a guilt trip.
