Why do some people pass gas when they eat cabbage or beans and others don't?!
Question:
Why do some people pass gas when they eat cabbage or beans and others don't?
I was given this answer: Many lack the proper enzymes to completely digest the food. So the bacteria in you intestines break it down and gas is a byproduct. Beano is the enzymes in a bottle, thats why it helps with the gas.
However, I was still wondering: What are the proper enzymes and how can one get them without taking pills? Is it genetic or what? Does yogurt help?
Answers:
I was told by a weight councilor once that the more fiber you eat not only help with regularity but also helps with gas.
