Can someone have a blood alcohol content higher than the legal amount for driving from taking cold medicine? (normal dosage).

you need to take LARGE quantities of it but yes. as you can also get that way from some mouth wash that has alcohol in it. there are people that have been arrested for DUI for drinking mouth wash.
