What in the world could be wrong with me?!

Question:

What in the world could be wrong with me?

I've gone off to college and will soon start my third year in the fall. I haven't gone to the doctor since high school, and I plan on making an appointment to go this Tuesday to my old pediatrician since I've never seen a primary care physician and want to speak to a doctor that has my medical history. Of course I think I'm way too old to go to a pediatrician, but I'm afraid I might have a problem finding a new physician covered under insurance since I got married and am in college, and I dont want to run into any problems. So I guess that's my best bet. Lately, I've had so much wrong with me but I was unsure if I was still covered under my parents insurance since I'm in college and recently got married so I put off making the appointment for awhile. Anyway, I have a lot of symptoms and I'm unsure how they all could possibly be related. I don't want to sound like a hypochondriac to my doctor, and I want to know a other peoples' opinions. What do YOU think?

Symptoms:
* Sometimes sharp, very painful "heart" pains that I've had since I was a child. I was told they are "growing pains". Lately, I've experienced those more frequently, and now sometimes a new pressure/squeezing feeling in my chest that lasts for hours.

* Last week I had a fever for 4 days of 99.7-103 with horrible headaches that I thought were caused by my sore wisdom teeth. A day into it, I started to just feel really "fever" sick.

* A day or two into the fever, I got a dull pain low in my right side next to my hip bone. The pain stayed constantly for four days. I wouldn't want to move very much or stretch the area that hurt. If i pushed on the area, the pain intensified, but it was hard for me to pinpoint exactly where it was. I'd have to move my hand in circles for a minute before I found it.

* After the fever, I developed a cough that sounds like a dying smoker even though I've never smoked a day in my life. It sounds very congested low in my chest, but no phlegm

* The cough will not go away even though I generally feel well now. I can't cough up anything, but I feel tickling in my lungs or something when I breath sometimes and it makes me go into a coughing fit. I had an upper respiratory infection 3 years ago and now, ever since then, if I DO cough up anything it is sometimes streaked with dark streaks or blood. I went to the doctor when it first started but if I ever get a cold since then, it occurs again... although I can not force myself to cough up anything now.

* I haven't had an appetite at all since the fever first started 2 weeks ago, which is very unusual for me. I'm not over weight (5'3 - 110 lbs), but I really do like food. This worries me because sometimes I'll come home from work at night and realize I didn't have a bite to eat since lunch the day before, and I feel no hunger pains at all. It makes me feel like I'm numb inside.

I don't understand how any of this could be related. I feel like I'm imagining it. Please help

I just want to add that I'm not on any medication, and I don't have any medical conditions that I am aware of.

I've also been told that the fever, loss of appetite, and pain in my lower right abdomen could be an inflamed appendix. Does that sound right? Anyone with any ideas, comments, or information would be appreciated.

citation needed~~ You're growing, pregnant? I'm really unsure what it could be but I just had to tell you It doesn't matter if your insurance covers it or not you sound like you really do need to get yourself checked out it's for the best. Because it'd be bad if it was really something and ended up getting worse because of your hesitance. Get yourself check out.
