Has anyone experienced this sleep pattern?
My husband falls asleep within 10 minutes of closing his eyes. Once asleep, his body does these crazy involuntary jerking movements. Most of them are small movements, but sometimes his whole body jerks so hard he wakes up. If he has his arms on me or even close to me and he jerks like this, I usally get woken up because they are so forceful. He has clocked me many times in the head and face because his arms flung out while asleep! I have never seen involuntary movements like this before. Anyone know what might cause this?
Also, his snoring is backwards with a quiet inhale and a crazy sounding exhale. Never heard anything quite like it - I sleep with ear plugs every night. Does anyone else know a snorer like that?

My bf does the same thing. One night I watched him and he kept jerking his arm, violently. He snores really loud sometimes, not always, and I've been jacked in the face MANY times. My bf has bad allergies and mild asthma. I don't know if maybe that's something to do with it? Perhaps it's actually a sleep disorder. I feel your pain.... literally.
