Will smoking in moderation (once or twice per day) make it less likely to become!
Question:
Will smoking in moderation (once or twice per day) make it less likely to become addicted?
Before I get into detail, READ MY TEXT! Do NOT tell me smoking is bad or that you aren't a smoker or that I shouldn't smoke! And certainly do NOT go into an infomercial on the effects of smoking! That is NOT what the question is about. Smoking is MY choice and I do NOT need anyone whining about me doing this. If you can't just give a straight answer to the question without adding your personal opinion about smoking being bad, then DO NOT WASTE MY TIME!
That said, the reason I ask about moderation is that I have been a closet smoker for a couple years now. Actually, I only had a period of a only few days twice in a year. So I rarely do smoke. I'm actually approaching 30 so this is well into my adulthood. I found that every now and then during an especially stressfull period helps.
So far, I haven't become addicted. My point is there any type of accumulation that if I kept up my rare pattern, I could eventually become addicted? I'm basically trying to "have my cake and eat it too".
Answers:
If you keep smoking as rarely as you say in your question, then you don't have a thing to worry about.
