What happened to me,what could it have been?

i just finshed eating lunch in a resturant with my family the other day,and when i was finshed i went to the bathroom,feeling a bit flushed i looked in the mirror and my whole face and neck was red and looked like i had a rash(but it was not a rash)and i felt very very hot in the face,i was thinking maybe it was my blood presure creeping up (getting high) i have essential hypertension,and i am 31 weeks pregnant,i had pre-eclampsia with my first pregnancy,just wondering does this sound like it is blood pressure related or not?

i was not hot(it's winter here)
the food did not make me get an allergy, i just ate plain food that i normally eat.
and the A.C was on in the resturant.
i was not nervous or stressed or anything,just fine,so why would i get all hot and flushed for no reason,this happens pretty regulary,not just when i eat.even when im at rest(lying down etc)
i will ask my doc at next appt. but just wondering what u guys think it might have been..

with your history of pre-eclampsia it probably is blood pressure or circulation related. I would call the office tomorrow and tell them, they may want you to come in to check it out.
