i went to the hospital the other night and after i lefted there my sister had rang up there to see what was wrong with my because i wouldnt tell her, and they told her what was wrong with me. are they alound to do that, if not how would i right a complaint letter to the hospital, this isnt the first time they have told someone what was wrong with me.

Answers:

If you are under 18, I believe they are allowed to give out health information to a parent or gaurdian. If you are over 18, they are absolutely not alowed unless you have filled out a consent form with the names of someone they are allowd to discuss medical issues with.

Is it possible that your sister pretended to be you to get that information? You need to contact the department you were seen in (emergency room, etc) and speak to a supervisor. Explain to them what happened and ask them who you would send a letter to.

You should also speak with your parents/guardian if you are under 18 and explain to them what your sister did and have them deal with her.
