Can you give me an explanation of the rhesus factor and what it does? Please....i dont get wikipedia and my school books....

Your blood cells have certain proteins on the surface of them that your body uses to tell if it is "self" (another part of your body, or something that shouldn't be there) or not, called antigens... based on that your immune system will decide whether or not to attack it. If you have it you're positive if you dont you're negative.
