I'm currently on disability from work due to hand surgery.?!

Question:

I'm currently on disability from work due to hand surgery.?

The company who handle's my claim always asks for updated medical notes everytime I visit my doctor. This way they can extend my disability until I'm able to return to work. Everything had been going fine until the gentleman who worked for the doctor and did the disability claims left. So now they have a woman who has taken over who obviously is not quite sure how everything is run. I went to see my doctor 3 weeks ago and they still have not sent the records from my last visit in. I called Thursday and informed her that the proper records were not sent in. She said that they were not done yet but she would mention it to the doctor on Monday (which would be tomorrow). The disability company really needs these records and I feel bad that they have not gotten them yet. My question is: should I call tomorrow and remind her that they need to be done? And if so, how do I say it nicely..I don't want to invade her space but it's getting ridiculous. Or should I wait until maybe Tuesday?

Answers:

I would call the office tomorrow and say that you are just checking to make sure the records are sent in. Just be nice about it, they know what you need them for. its not like you are just tryin to skip out on work
