What's it mean if your puke is black?

Last night I got really, really wasted and drank way too much. On the walk home I puked all over the street, and then at my buddy's house I puked in the garbage can and I must've puked in my sleep or something because it was all over my arm and his blanket...but it was like a dark color, almost looked black, I've never seen that before. Why was it black? None of the drinks I had were black, just beer and bacardi 151.

And it didn't look like coffee grounds at all...it was like slimy. Definitely not blood.

black vomit can be a sign of an upper Gastrointestineal bleed (AKA GI bleed).
The vomit looks like coffee grounds. other signs and symptoms are heartburn, stomach pain, dark tarry stools, and blood in vomit. Stay on the watch for these signs.
alcohol consumption causes stomach and intestineal ulcers that lead to GI bleeds. prolonged continous use of tylenol and ibuprofen are also causes.
You should definitely see your doctor.
