Can the g-force on a rollarcoster cause blackouts on a normal person?!

Question:

Can the g-force on a rollarcoster cause blackouts on a normal person?

I recently rode the "face-off" ride at Kings Island in Cincinnati and during the ride, I litterally blacked out at one point in the ride shortly after it swtiched from moving me backwards to forwards. Shortly after that I woke up, before the ride had finnished. This has never happend to me before, but i have felt like blacking out before on a couple rides in my lifetime. The rest of the day i was fine though and was able to go on rollarcoasters. Face-off started me off moving backwards and runs you down a track that involves moving upside down and changing directions sharply while moving at high speeds. Does anyone know if this blackout problem is commonly experienced by normal people due to the g-force pressure or could something be wrong with me?

Answers:

this is not common, maybe you have some underlying problem you should see your doctor about it, it maybe be due to the lack of oxygen to the brain.
