I just quit smoking 3 days ago, when can I expect to start getting fat?


Answers:

You won't get fat if you watch your food intake for a few weeks while your body is weining off the nicotine.
I suggest you do this:

weigh yourself once a week to keep track and not let it creep in
chew gum
dangle a pencil from your mouth (your mouth will want to have something
hanging from it)
Do something with your hand to keep them busy (I sat on mine) so you dont
climb the walls and fiddle with food.
Keep lots of veggie snacks around
Drink lots of water to flush your system

It all works, try it.
