Im addicted........?!

Im addicted........?

Hi I have 3 kids and find myself drinking around 10 cans of cheap red bull a day. Im also on 20mg antidepressants a day which i have now taken up to 40 because they didnt feel like they were working.
Im very dependant on the red bull and lately i have found im drinking more and more just to get the same feeling and energy as i had when i first drank 1 can. I go out every 2 days to buy a crate of this red bull and have just realised how much im drinking.
I know i shouldnt up my dosage of antidepressants but ive been on them since i was about 13/14 so i know what i need in that department im just worried as im starting to get more spaced out than anything.
HELP what should i do? i cant carry on drinking this much and im finding it hard to stop!

im on citalopram antidepressants and its easy to get them before i am allowed them i can easily get someone else to say they want to go on them and they will get them for me. NOT that anyone should do this should i add!! I know its wrong and probabliy against the law or something. Im having relationship problems at the moment and have no-one to talk to. I have no mates who would understand and i dont have any family. My partner wouldnt understand he would think im just attention seeking or something because of the problems we are having.
Also i feel really fidgity is that a side affect or something?

Never mind im 21. my kids are 3, 2 in july and 7 months. My partner is 26 in july. ( just so he wasnt left out lol)!!!

You are not alone in this. There are so many different types of energy drinks now. I had a friend that had the same problem with "Monster energy drink". He was drinking about six of them a day, and not little cans like red bull. He bought the big ones. He was also taking the caffeine pills too. I introduced him to the foods, and vitamins that I take on a regular basis. I get solid energy all day long. You have to know this takes time, though.

I know how busy you are (I’ve been a single parent), but you “have to” set aside at least 15 minutes a day for you to exercise. Even if you have to go into your room and lock the door behind you and say “mommy just needs a few minutes right now”. I really would recommend something like Yoga, or Pilates. I recommend Yoga first because what it does for your mind, if you are wondering what it will do, look it online or get a book on it. It will really help, and what ever physical condition you are currently in there is a good starting point for you.

Try this- Find a good Multivitamin for women. Then for snacks have an apple, or a granola bar. Do you eat breakfast? I am willing to bet you don't. Get a good (healthy) cereal that you like. For lunch you want some complex carbs, and protein. You may even have a piece of fruit if you feel your energy dropping, in between meals. Also you may even try protein bars for snacks. EAS makes some really good ones that taste good too. For dinner you are looking for the same thing. It only takes a couple of days before you start seeing the difference. Many people don't realize that we don't need energy drinks, when we get what our body needs. We feel fatigued and low on energy when we don't get enough sleep, and we don't eat right. When we get both, our bodies do amazing things.

I hope this helps. It really helped my buddy Jeff. He was taking caffeine pills and drinking the six large cans of Monster a day. Now he doesn't take anything. I wish you luck. It also will not hurt you to see a doctor. I will warn you that, caffeine can have bad side effects on both your heart, and help you get kidney stones from dehydration if you are not drinking enough other fluids, because by the sound of it you are only drinking red bull.
