Is my work effecting my health?!

Question:

Is my work effecting my health?

I have just started a new job in the city just three weeks ago. Since I have started I have been really ill, I've the flu and I'm not talking about a cold I am talking about full blown flu, I have had an old car accident injury occur which makes my arm and hand go numb and my neck and back are in so much pain and just over the past week I am finding it really painful to walk, from my hips into my toes are so sore.
The only time I feel physically fine is on the weekends when I'm not at work.
My job is at a desk in an office and the work is easy.

In addition, before this I was teaching performing arts part time in a school and NEVER had any health problems here.

Any proper advice would be good advice. Thanks in advance x

Answers:

I'm not sure it's the same thing, but it could be psychosematic due to your unconcious mind not being comfortable in the surroundings you're now working in.

For ages in my current job, I was fine, but after a while I started to get incredible pains in my side. They eventually got so bad, that I was hospitalised for 3 days whilst tests were conducted - all of which came back negative. I then went to see a councillor and it was because of a number of issues from the past, coupled with a stark change in my work that affected me in this way.

As I said at the start, I'm not sure if this would be the same thing or not, but I'd definitely seek some advice about it even if just to put your mind at rest. For one thing to happen would be just mere coincidence - perhaps getting the flu because of the air conditioning systems for example - but for all that to come on at once does seem to point to a different problem.
