Life span of implants?!
Question:
Life span of implants?
Really would like to get implants.... but i worry that after doing so, i'll end up having to have them replaced or removed completely. does any one know the life expectancy of implants?

guess i should add, i would only want about a size C... alread have stretch marks (mom of 1 breastfed son) Also, do they use saline rather than silicon now? which is better?? AND... can you breastfeed after having a breast augmintation? sorry...for the addition haha

umm...that really depends on who you go to and where you get them from...anywhere from 8-20 years...but before you get them...consider this....If for some reason they pop, you will most likely become sick from silicon poisoning....and they leave ugly scars....not really scars, but the area where the breast was lacerated is loose and bumpy...but you can only notice if you are laying down and they are hanging in which case you wont be able to tell...but your partner might...if you catch my drift....but if they deplete the doctors will attach a tube of silicon to a shunt coming off the implant in which they will fill it back up....oh and depending on how big you want them, there may be stretch marks, and the doctor may have to slice open the nipple and scrape all of the glands and tissues out of the breast....so it is completely up to you....and i hope this helps!!!
