Any Advice?!

Question:

Any Advice?

At this point in time I don't have insurance, though we are in the process of getting some, and should have it in a month or so. Recently I've developed some symptoms, and I dont know whether or not I should be concerned. I've been experiencing shortness of breath for the past several weeks. It feels like my lungs are tight, or something is constricting them. I feel like I cant take a full breath. Furthermore I've been getting short of breath lately much easier than I used to. I've never had these problems before. I never thought you could develope asthema, and I dont think allergies could cause this either. I dont know, can my Fibromyalgia or RSD cause this at all? Any other guesses. Do you think its urgent enough that I should go to the doctor, or just wait it out until we get insurance?

Yes, I mean Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. I've had it for seven years now. But instead of being just my one leg, the pain seems to be all over, and it changes day by day. Based on this, and various pressure point tests, my neurologist thinks that I may have RSD and Fibromyalgia at the same time. The pain is bad all over, but only my right leg actually shows the purple discoloration. I really dont know. Ok sorry, this info's mainly off topic. My main concern right now is my breathing.

Answers:

I think that you should probably go to the doctor because it doesn't sound like it's RSD related, and I know how hard it is to have to deal with the insurance companies, but it's not worth risking your health just because you have no insurance. I also am trying to wait out the whole doctor thing for my RSD, but none of it's possibly life threatening so I would go to the doctor. Hopefully you will be able to get insurance...I think we're in the same boat...even though we have insurance they've pretty much ditched me because of all of my surgeries and things so we're in the process of applying for some new insurance, but hopefully it will happen for both of us soon. Hope you are able to see the doctor soon, and good luck with your breathing.
