Is Valtrex also for cold sores?
i found it in a family members medicine cabinet, i dont wanna jump to conclusions, so is it for cold sores? bc i know that cold sores are another type of herpes

Yes, it is an anti-viral drug. It is also used for shingles, which is herpes zoster.. and it has no relation to the sexually transmitted disease (which is herpes simplex).
