Is spirulina good for the liver?!

Question:

Is spirulina good for the liver?

Answers:

Spirulina is a general tonic food. It is generally considered to be a "super food" because it is a rich source of most food groups, minerals and vitamins. It contains a lot of chlorophyll which helps chelate (bind) toxic material and remove it from the body. This helps take some of the pressure off the liver. It is quite high in vitamin A so anyone at risk of vitamin A toxicity should probably be careful, or avoid spirulin, otherwise, yes it is good for the liver.

I hope this helps, and wish you all the best.
