Im Short Sighted...Does this mean...?
I am short sighted, but still have fairly good eyesight. I can see things and people and can read some text but for the further away stuff, i need to squint. Anyway, would this effect me in anyway if i wanted to be in the Police Force.

No, this shouldn't effect your career in the police force. Plenty of officers wear glasses.
