Using eardrops prior to syringing, but the blockage has just gotten worse. What !
Question:
Using eardrops prior to syringing, but the blockage has just gotten worse. What can I do?
Hey All..
I'm getting my ears syringed next week and my doctor prescribed me some Sodium BiCarbonate drops to soften up the wax, however this has just made the blockage worse and I can barely hear anything!
Is this what normally happens? If so, should I just wait it out for the next 4 days?
Thanks,
Tom
Answers:
If you have a hand-held shower head with an adjustable flow regulator, set it on "massage" (so the flow is rapidly intermittent ) with mildly hot water. You should be able to flush out the earwax easily that way.
If not, see your doctor A.S.A.P. and have him clean it out.
