What's the best way to say "no" to your dad who needs and has requeste!
Question:
What's the best way to say "no" to your dad who needs and has requested for a liver organ transplant?
A dad to my collegue at work is seriiosly ill from diabetes and needs a liver transplant. He has asked of his son to donate one. but the son does not want to do so on various reasons and fears. How can he tell him so without hurting his feelings and him feeling sorry.
Answers:
Do you mean a kidney instead of a liver? Because you have two kidneys and can donate one and still live; but you have only ONE liver, and liver donations are taken from the deceased. Kidney failure is common in diabetics, so I assume you mean KIDNEY, and not liver.
The son needs to talk to his father's doctor first to see if he is even a candidate for donation, and THEN talk about his fears.
Why DOESN'T the son want to donate a kidney? To collect the inheritance faster?
