Dilated pupils?
I have to go to the othomalogist today and get my eyes checked. Apparently they will dilate my pupils. I keep hearing bad things about it like how it will feel wierd and how i cant close my eyes. WTF am i getting myself into?

Not a big deal. Many people get this done every day. Never heard about not being able to close your eyes. I think maybe someone has been telling stories.
Might be a little odd for a very little while. You might need to wear dark glasses when going back outside into the sun afterwards. Not a big deal.
If you're having a major checkup, you might need someone to give you a ride home afterwards. I usually have no problem at all.
