The smoking ban starts on 1 July.
People will not be allowed to smoke in confirned spaces for example
Pubs, clubs, work places, taxi's, work vehicles, shops, cafes, restaurants.public transport...the list goes on
They will however be able to smoke, in their own homes, in places designed for living in, eg. nursing/rest homes, prisons, hotels - at the owners discreation.
The fine if caught smoking in a prohibited place is £50
