How to relax?!

How to relax?

Well i'm a pretty healthy person, but ever since i've gotten my panic attacks i've changed (i've taken medication from the doctor but i stopped already). I've been so cautious about everything, and i'm a bit of a hyponchodriac. Even when there's nothing to stress about, i get all panicky, and when i get negative thoughts, they scare me..(but latley i've researched and i'm not the only one going through things like this, so it made me feel a whole lot better) but what are helpful ways to relax myself and teach myself to feel just calm down? (so i won't depend on doctors and medication)

If you have time and are at home, lay on the sofa and put a cool washcloth over your eyes. Deep steady breathing can also help. Surround yourself with things that make you feel good like pretty pictures on the walls (ocean settings, palm trees, etc.) and wear comfortable clothes that make you happy. At night, sprinkle a little perfume or other pleasant scent such as coconut spray on your pillow. This will give you a very comforting feeling.
