R/ What does that suppose to mean??
whats does that sign suppose to mean???? when i go to my doctor and he gave a paper with prescription i saw that sign on several paper on his table???
And i often wonder why does pharmacy use a symbol of snake around a glass or something??? Does this refers to some mythology or what?

Ok, I'll be first but could be wrong...The "R" could be some sort of trademark sign or code for the pharmacy. As for the snake around the glass container symbol - it goes back to the Greeks. I believe the glass is some sort of mixing glass for medicines and as for the snake...I dunno. I'll keep checking back for your 2nd, 3rd, ect. answers (remember, I was 1st). I wanna know for myself and I'm gonna give you a big star for this question.
