Does the changing of seasons affect your libido? Does it increase or decrease?!

Question:

Does the changing of seasons affect your libido? Does it increase or decrease?

It certainly affects mine. Mine goes sky-high / astronomical especially during the onset of spring, summer, and fall. I believe there is a natural and normal physiological cause for this, but I have not researched into it. However, I do not believe that this is psychosomatic.

Does this happen to anyone else? How do you deal with it?

Answers:

I'm just guessing it has to do with seasonal light affect on your brain.

Light or lack there of effects many folks--hence seasonal affect disorder (SAD).

I agree that it's not psychosomatic. Seasons effect our brain chemistry.

Ideally you'll find a partner who shares your fluctuating libido. That'd make seasonal changes so much more enjoyable.
