I have been saying for years that once medicine and shareholders (profit) got in bed together, it was all downhill from there.
The maximum dental allowance per year for many insurance carriers is $1000. That's the same as in 1960! If adjusted for inflation, it should be around $5000 -- amazing...

The primary motivation of Big Pharma and Big Medicine is to make money. And to see a gain in income from decreasing losses. And to invest in itself to expand. And to limit access to healing systems to focus on monetary remains. And, to please shareholders with reports of profits.
But let's not suggest that any greed is involved, that would be vulgar.
But isn't it interesting that more and more doctors have breast implants and brilliant white teeth and BMW's than ever? Not all of them, of course, SOME of the money goes to the shareholders, who might be world travelers with even bigger breasts and villas in Italy, and multiple homes and cars - but really, I digress from the main point:
Yes, it's a sanitary-sounding word indeed, but you DO realize that sanitation costs money, don't you? We're sending a bill, thank you...
