What do you do for an earache?
my best friend has an earache and we are questioning what to do, she is having problems trying to sleep also because of it?

Down in South Texas there is a Mexican Remedy for the earache. Scary at first, but worth it toward the end.
Remedy # 1
Antibiotics and a good ear cleaning at a local clinic would do the trick
Remedy # 2
Grab a sheet of news paper
Roll it up into a funnel (one side rolled to be able to fit partly in the ear canal)
Tilt friends head with infected ear up
Insert tube safely (meaning not any further than you would stick a Q-Tip) into ear canal
Weirdly enough, once you have perfect positioning, enflame other end of newspaper while holding steady the newspaper still in ear
Do this until a popping sensation is induced (or is no longer safe, of course)
Then shall follow a calm soothed ear that will last a few hours
Remedy # 3
Corn oil inserted soothingly down the ear by small drops.
