I really need help!?!

Question:

I really need help!?

I DO NOT SMOKE!!!!!! But I had to take a drug test and failed for marijuanna!
Any doctors out there would be greatly appreciated.
I have been a vegetarian for 10 years and was told I had low iron, so I began to eat meat again and take suppliments. Someone suggested that I take hempseed oil for extra protien, and I have been taking that along with extra iron tablets.
I looked online and found out that this hempseed oil is from a plant that looks a lot like marijuanna. Could this be my problem??? Please help!! I need my job!

Answers:

Yes, hempseed oil can unfortunately cause you to fail a drug test. I've known of several people that has happened to.

Hempseed can contain trace amounts of THC, the ingredient found in large amounts in marijuana, because they both come from the Cannibis plant. But the two are grown completely differently, and for very different purposes, and the amount of THC in hemp has no intoxicating properties.

Drug testers need to reevaluate their testing methods to allow for this since more and more people are ingesting hemp products, which are full of nutrients and health benefits. Hopefully, if you or someone from your company takes the oil you have been taking to the lab that did the testing, it will clear up your result.

And if you need more support for this argument, you can find many stories of similar situations online, including legal cases where the person was proven innocent of drug taking, so there is a strong precedent that you can draw from. Best of luck.
